So thanks to those companies -> (M2H, BlackMill Games, FakeFish, Undertow Games, Deadalic Entertainment, Flaxis Games, Aspyr (Mac, Linux), 2K, Eleventh Hour Games, Paradox Interative, Harebrained Schemes. Because those developers and publishers are indeed doing it without your argumentation you point how "impossible" it is because it is not lucrative to earn money. I just have a problem to understand your reasonable answer. Thank you for your reply and feedback information. Trine 5 should run fine on Proton, so native Linux port doesn't really have much to offer. It's possible in the future, if Valve keeps up the good work with Steam Deck, but I wouldn't suggest waiting for it. We did consider a Linux port for a while, but in the end didn't have resources to attempt it. While Linux development is somewhat easier than it used to be (thanks to Steam OS), OS X development has only gone more expensive. Porting to Linux won't help porting to OS X and porting to OS X won't help porting to Linux. This is especially true these days, as the platforms are almost completely different. I hope this explanation helps a little, sorry that it's not as convenient as it could be! We'll be making improvements here soon.Originally posted by JLarja:Unfortunately, Linux and Apple user bases are too small for us to target. You can also use the filters like Players / Level / Difficulty / Mode / Password to see if the games are easier to find. In the meantime it will probably refresh the list of games either by pressing the Refresh button on the game screen, or by restarting the game. We are aware that there may be a bug where not all of the available games are listed, and with bad luck that could prevent seeing your friends' games listed. That said, it should be possible to join friends' games by one person hosting a private game (with a password) and then the other players finding that game in the Browse Games list and entering the password. We're looking into adding some kind of system (it's a bit complicated as we want to support cross-platform play, and there's all sorts of rules that we have to follow if invites are implemented in certain ways, so unfortunately we had to make some compromises for release). The launch version doesn't have proper invites at the moment.
